Eli Manning, as part of his MVP award, was given his choice of Cadillacs. He asked for an Escalade Hybrid, giving an indication of 1) either good stage managing or 2) the awareness in celebrity circles about the new Escalade Hybrid. Given it's pricetag, the celebrity marketplace may be the target audience for GM

Manning's individual effort was rewarded with the MVP prize, and his choice of Cadillacs. He went with the Escalade hybrid, which isn't available yet.With the hybrid Escalade not due (as Manning points out) for a few months, it makes me wonder if he was coached on what answer to give. Especially since GM gave baseball MVP Ichiro Suzuki a Chevy Tahoe Hybrid.
"I know it comes out in the summer," he told Cadillac's CEO. "I want the first one."
