There are reports (IL) that Maserati will develop a hybrid powertrain based on the Ferrari model in their next generation of cars. The stricter fuel economy (emissions) laws in Europe are forcing car makers to move to less weightier options, plus other fuel efficient engines to compensate.
The three-pointed Trident brand will borrow similar emission and drivetrain logics from Ferrari and combine them with its already existing impressive performance to bring out the most efficient hybrid powertrain at affordable prices - nitrobahn
