GM will be demonstrating its hybrid bus technology at Mt Cotton near Brisbane in Australia in two day for government and transport industry representatives.
GM has over 400 hybrid buses in 25 US citites. Hybrid buses save 20 to 25% on fuel costs and have lower emissions than conventional gas buses.

As of today, GM is adding Tulsa, Oklahoma to the list of cities with transit buses powered by their diesel-electric hybrid systems. Tulsa becomes the 33rd community to invest in transit buses powered by GM hybrid system.
