The following 5 star ratings come from the NHTSA site SaferCar.gov. Clearly, the most highly rated hybrid on the site is the Toyota Camry Hybrid with five stars across the board. The Prius improved its safety rating after 2003 from 3 stars to 4 across most categories.
Most of the hybrids have achieved four or five stars across the board. The Lexus GS450h, Lexus RX400h and the Toyota Highlander Hybrid were not rated.

Any idea why they didn't start separating out the Honda Civic Hybrid data until the 2006 model?
Just wondering if it might be because there is no significant structural difference between the regular and hybrid versions of the 2003-2005 Civics.
I'm guessing that you're right. The Civic was redesigned for 2006, and the hybrid may have become significantly different enough for them to test it separately. But that's just a guess.
