Edmunds recently reviewed the Toyota Camry Hybrid and here's a summary of what they had to say.

Engine Specs
• 45 hp electric, 147 hp 2.4 liter DOHC 4 cylinder gas engine: net result 192 hp
• CVT - continuously variable transmission
• Engine torque 138 lb-ft at 4,400 rpm
• Electric engine torque: 199 lb-ft at zero to 1,500 rpm
• 0-60 in 8.6 seconds
• 60-0 in 135 feet (braking test)

Hybrid Differences
• If you didn't know it was a hybrid, you wouldn't be able to tell just by driving it.
• MPG meter on the dash
• slight undercarriage design to minimize drag

MPG Rating
• EPA Rating: 40/38 mpg
• Edmunds Testing: 38.4/42.4 mpg

Noise
• Low Speed was eerily quiet (no gas engine)
• High Speed road noise penetrated the cabin

Size
• roomy, but not comfortable for three in the back seat
• 10.6 cubic feet in the trunk (small)
