Denso, the auto parts supplier, wants to grow even faster than they have in the past. With double-digit growth in revenue and profits, that will be hard to do.
Denso is the one of the big four auto parts suppliers. Wtih revenues of $28.8 billion and market capitalisation of $33 billion (ranked second in the world for listed parts supplier), that makes Denso bigger than Ford and GM combined.
Denso trails Robert Bosch and Delphi by revenue, but is a leading provider of hybrid systems as well as other common rail and other diesel engine fuel injection technology. Denso has been spending more on research and development over the past several years, while expenditures on facilities increased to nine percent of revenue last year.
