Lexus has announced the GS 450h price tag will stay the same at $55,665.
All 2008 models have new front fascias, side-mirror turn signals, revised instrument panels and MP3 access. The GS 450h will get standard ventilated front seats.
The GS 450h was designed with power enhancement, not fuel efficiency in mind. It comes with a 3.5-liter V-6 that delivers (with the help of the electric motor) the power of a V-8 with 339 hp. It can go from 0-60 in 5.2 seconds. It is rated at 22 mpg city/ 25 mpg highway.
