It may be the first and only time these two have something in common, but Senator John Kerry (D-MA) and Paris Hilton are both looking to get their hands on a brand new GM Hybrid SUV.
Kerry is replacing his 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid (leased) with a 2008 Chevy Tahoe Hybrid. Kerry based his choice on the Tahoe winning Green Car of the Year award.
Paris Hilton ordered a GMC Yukon Hybrid for her birthday.
Eli Manning recently asked for the Escalade Hybrid after winning the Superbowl MVP.
This seems to be GM's target audience. The rich and famous may line up in droves to acquire these new status symbols.

This car is perfect for dumbshits who think going from 18 MPG to 20 MPG is actually being responsible.
