The Prius may have hit the top 10 list in the US, but hybrid car sales in China are lagging so badly Toyota is cutting prices. Toyota has cut the price from $39,700 to $36,500 as other companies begin marketing their own hybrid cars in China.
Toyota is still expecting slow sales, however, with a goal of only 1,500 for 2008.
