Cheaper, More Efficient Hybrid From Toyota in 2011

The Yomiuri newspaper (via Bloomberg) reported Toyota will be offering a new hybrid vehicle in 2011. The new hybrid will be even more fuel efficient than the Prius.

The newspaper said the new hybrid will cost $15,600 and get 40 km/liter, compared to the 38 km/liter for the Prius. It will cost $15,600 (1.5 million yen).
