SEOUL (Reuters) - India's Tata Group is planning to produce hybrid versions of its Nano, billed as the world's cheapest car, to join in the environment-friendly trend, its chairman said in an interview with a South Korean newspaper.

No real details are available (price, date, type of hybrid, etc...). I would imagine Tata is looking a mild version of the Nano, in lines with their low price ($2,000). So, a small increment in fuel efficiency would be in line with a start-stop system in place.
