As the Detroit Auto Show gets ready to kick off, questions linger on the state of GM, their negotations with the labor union and what GM's plans are for the auto show and the future.
Today Show anchor Lauer interviewed CEO Rick Wagoner on all of these topics, with the Chevy Volt sitting in the background. It seems Matt Lauer got to drive the Volt and was impressed by the car. I'm surprised, however, given all the hype on how the Volt is such a big part of the future of GM, that no one jumped on the price tag of $40,000 or so...
They kept switching between the production vehicle and the concept vehicle in the snippets they showed, which made it a little confusing. And while the two looks are similar, they aren't that similar.
