After running out of money last year for their state rebate on hybrids, Pennsylvania has upped the budget allocated to the program. $3 million is being set aside (twice what was available) for last year.
Buyers of hybrids in Pennsylvania are eligible for $500 in a rebate from the state. Anyone who bought a hybrid during the period when the budget was drained are still eligible for the rebate.
You need to submit for your rebate within six months of your purchase.
Alternative fuel cars are eligible for the rebate as well.
