Kentucky tax credits for hybrids?

Kentucky may be offering a new $500 state tax credit for those who purchase hybrid vehicles. A bill introduced by Charlie Hoffman, Democratic Rep from Georgetown and Jim Wayne, Democratic Rep from District 35 in Jefferson County would cover any model or manufacturing plant.

Kentucky is particularly interested in the success of hybrids with the Toyota Camry hybrid being produced at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky and Ford having a Louisville Assembly Plant (which does not produce hybrids).
