Toyota is Sued Again Over Hybrid Car Patent

Paice LLC, just weeks after winning a patent infringement case against Toyota, has once again sued Toyota. Once again, Paice is claiming Toyota has infringed on one of their patents involving hybrid vehicles.

Paice filed suit on Tuesday in federal court in Marshall, Texas. They are claiming the Toyota Highlander Hybrid and Lexus RX 400h are involved and want to block their use.

In the earlier case, Toyota lost to the tune of $4.3 million and was ordered to pay $25 in royalties for every Prius, Highlander and RX 400h sold.
