Hybrid Car Review

In Doyleston, a proposal to allow free parking for hybrid cars was shot down by the local council. Asst. Borough Manager Phil Ehlinger supported the proposal, and believed it would encourage people to buy hybrid cars.

Council members disagreed, and unanimously voted to reject the proposal.

Oftentimes, this is a Republican/Democrat issue, with some pols pointing out that the cost of buying a hybrid means the people who are getting the benefit are the ones least likely to need it.
